眼看高潮又起。
'There was a distinct suggestion of corpse-lights and railway station waiting-rooms about the lights which shone forth from the windows of Cold Comfort... the lights looked positively rorty'

评:如果坚持音乐比喻的话至少是‘演奏’吧,或:‘红艳艳的火光在他那张激昂的脸上涂抹上变幻莫测的投影。’
'his eyes fixed triumphantly upon some far-off, ecstatic vision.'
译:“他的眼睛露出得意扬扬的目光,盯着远处仿佛令人欣喜若狂的景象。”
