"Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit"

踩坑前做了点功课，发现简中译本出过三版，都是一位译者。微信读书的是基于2018版，不是最新的2022版，但且假设最新的也没有修正过吧。
Jeanette Winterson （珍妮特·温特森）的书只看过1/5本，但对她的文笔印象很好，记得是很流畅清澈的那种，所以想试试她最有名的这本。翻了几页预感笔记会很琐碎。
9/18 补：翻译得好的读起来好轻松，很多加注也非常良心

原文：'When thick rinds are used the top must be thoroughly skimmed, or a scum will form marring the final appearance.'
译：“如果是用皮很厚的橘子，一定要完全切除顶部，否则会形成浮渣，成品欠缺美观。”
评：其实就一词之差，但这是开首引言的一句，所以还是记下来了。这里是形容橘皮酱的做法，‘如果是用很厚的橘子皮，一定要把液体表层完全撇清，否则会形成浮渣，影响成品的美观。’

译：“魔鬼（千变万化）”
评： ‘含其千变万化的形态’

原文：'I do think that the relationship my mother enjoyed with God had a lot to do with positioning.... she was out there, up front with the prophets, and much given to sulking under trees when the appropriate destruction didn’t materialise. '

评：因为前文说她母亲是站着祈祷的，这里的positioning该是指母亲的急先锋站位，而不是上帝/温顺羔羊之间的尊卑分明，‘...很大程度上和她站在上帝的哪里有关。’
‘站在树下生闷气’ 不知有无典故但很形象，
much given to这个说法有点arch，不知道怎么体现出来

评：喜欢两个in顶针格的利落，这里重复‘进’字意思意思，‘牛奶加进茶，她也进屋了’

评： 这里前面是主日学校讲三圣贤故事的口吻，结尾来个too much hair，是蛮微妙的幽默，‘...那儿有张婴儿床，那张床里有个婴儿。一个头发太多的婴儿。’

译：“现在是她的血肉了，是从她的头脑里冒出来的。她所见的异象。”
评： 头脑里冒出来的让人联系到宙斯和女儿雅典娜，vision这种用法一直很难找到简洁的中文对应，‘她受主的启发栩栩如生预见到的。’ ？？

踩坑前做了点功课，发现简中译本出过三版，都是一位译者。微信读书的是基于2018版，不是最新的2022版，但且假设最新的也没有修正过吧。
Jeanette Winterson （珍妮特·温特森）的书只看过1/5本，但对她的文笔印象很好，记得是很流畅清澈的那种，所以想试试她最有名的这本。翻了几页预感笔记会很琐碎。
